POSITIVE
In this up-close, experimental memoir piece a boy in his early twenties is diagnosed with HIV. Amidst a reckless expat life in Berlin he is forced to adjust to the unwelcome news, navigating the sensitive issue with his friends, his family, and his partner.

The medical story around HIV is changing dramatically. The '80s and '90s claimed too many lives, instilling a perverse silence and shame around the disease - a shame which is still darkly prevalent today. This film pulls the narrative surrounding the virus away from tragedy and loss and into the realm of acceptance and hope.
